Battery-powered noise-canceling earmuff for shooting and high-noise environments. Automatically amplifies ambient sound and cuts off above an 82dB threshold. Tested to SNR 30dB (EN 352-1:2020) and NRR 22dB (ANSI S3.19-1974), SLC80 20dB Class 3.

Both — a built-in microphone amplifies quiet ambient sound (range commands, conversation, footsteps) so you can hear normally, then automatically compresses/cuts off any sound spike above 82dB to protect your hearing, all while wearing it.
How is this different from EM-9011M?
Same passive shell and acoustic rating; EM-9011M adds Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity for phone calls and audio streaming on top of the same sound-amplification function.
